ICANN Votes Against Porn Extension .xxx
Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007
The overseer of the Internet’s addressing system again rejects the creation of a “.xxx” top-level domain.
“I understand the reasoning behind rejecting this new extension. But i think in the bigger picture it would be easier to filter allot of porn and undesirable content away from children. It would very well allow us to keep underage people away from it. I don’t get why they would not pass it, then again I have to say ICANN is already screwed in the head after the RF incident.” - Comments by user IPsecure.
