 3 reasons I will NEVER get to Site5 web hosting again:Â
- The MySQL Server went down at least once a day for the last 4 months.
I ran lots of small sites on Site5, but thank God none of them were sales-based. - Oversold servers caused our entire server to go down several times a week.
Even after they moved us to a different server, we had the exact same problems. - Idiotic Tech Support. Don’t get me wrong, they do reply - but their techs seem to know less about computers than your favorite tech support guru from India.
Go ahead, send them an email three times and you’ll get three entirely different replies. For instance, we asked them for permission to install a small Linux program on the Site5 server through SSH - one tech told us it’s already installed the next one told us it can’t be done the third told us he can’t answer this question and we should consult their forums instead - wtf? I should add that with each reply we included the replies from their previous responses, but instead they continued to contradict each other.
My last 4 months with Site5 have been less than pleasant.
I also have an account with HostGator and ResellerZoom and neither one of them has ever gotten this bad.

www.Site5.com SUCKS.
They disabled my account due to resource usage, even though I pay for unlimited usage…

TWICE in 3 days all of my sites are down, I’m a reseller, try explaining to your customers why their sites have been down 2 days, each 8-9 each!

Site5 has the worst tech support of any web host I’ve used. They don’t know the basics, take way too long to respond (24+ hours), and don’t offer phone support. Their service is full of glitches.

Okay, so I signed up for the entry level plan at www.Site5.com , so let me just say I wasn’t expecting the world, but c’mon…My site is ridiculously slow during high useage times everyday. For e-mails, log on can take over 10 min. Bottom line… site5 sucks!

We have used Site5 for over a year and have had no problems.
Their tech support is always timely and helpful, service is reliable and they are a great price.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for a host with many up to date features.
NOT VERY BAD Site5 WEB HOSTING!
